It’s finally summer again and as the sizzling summer sun begins to rise in Europe, we are rushing to pick the perfect destination for our getaways. Here at UTravelInc, our team have been lucky enough to have jetted off all over Europe this year, and here are a few of our top destinations for 2018.

The Popular: Paris

Although it may be one of the most popular destinations in Europe, it is no surprise that year after year Paris still manages to attract the masses, especially in the incredible summer weather France is famous for.

The city of lights by day presents some of the world’s best shopping in the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, art in the Louvre, and sweet treats in the quaint patisseries, before by night being transformed in to a dazzling, bustling hub, with something for everyone- from cabaret and variety at the iconic Moulin Rouge and La Lido to world class clubs including Le Manko, a hotspot for models and designers alike, so if you are in town during fashion week, you are sure to spot a model or two.

If you want a little fun which is friendly to all ages during your stay, we would highly recommend visiting the ever-changing Disneyland Paris, which has in recent times unveiled some new and improved areas and rides, including an entire zone dedicated to Disney’s newest franchise, Star Wars. However, make sure you get there early as it gets busy outside school term times!

The One-for-all: London

Although it may be a little close to home, London is a destination that we, time after time love to visit. The capital of the United Kingdom is a vibrant melting pot of culture, history, and fun so regardless if you want to see Buckingham Palace, The Houses of Parliament, The Tate Modern or even attend a British Summer Time Concert in the iconic Hyde Park you will definitely not be bored in London!

London has a fantastic food and nightlife scene, from some of the worlds finest collections of cuisine including some incredible options in The Shard, which dominates the London skyline. London is also home to some incredible bars including Sketch and Sky Garden Bar and nightclubs including Drama, Park Lane, and Tape Club both of which provide a great excuse to get dressed up and enjoy a night out.

The Up-and-Coming: Frankfurt

Nested in central Germany, Frankfurt unexpectedly blew us away, exceeding all expectations- everything we thought we knew changed as soon as we arrived making it one of our top destinations for 2018.

Due to its river location, we would highly recommend taking part in one of the many river cruises, which allows you to take in some of the city’s best sights, whilst still enjoying the incredible summer sun. If you enjoy taking in the outdoors, we would highly recommend a visit to some of the beautiful parks including Palmengarten, Rothschildpark and Ostpark, which would be the perfect setting for a relaxing picnic or a romantic setting to watch as the sun sets.

If you are visiting as a family, the summer is the perfect time to have a day out at Germany’s second oldest zoo, where you can see over 450 animals including Lions, Giraffes and Seals.

If you are looking for accommodation, we would recommend Capri by Fraser, Frankfurt which is a collection of incredible serviced accommodation, providing all the amenities you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. In my experience, the staff were incredible at recommending some of the best places that google didn’t so make sure to take advantage of their knowledge.
